Children's ministry

DAILY ROSARY

As a Marian group, we gather several times a week to pray the Flame of Love Rosary, a devotion led by our children who have grown to cherish this prayer. Scriptural readings are also sometimes incorporated during our prayer time. In addition, our annual calendar helps us to incorporate teachings on the life of the Saints, confession, adoration and other matters the children may be benefit from. We welcome those interested in joining us for prayer.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Mathew 19:14

MARIAN CONSECRATION

Alongside the Rosary, we engage in annual consecrations to Our Lady and Saint Joseph, as well as novenas to the Saints. We also take time to learn about the lives of the Saints. Everyone is welcome to join us for these prayers, which are held via Zoom.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6

SEVEN CHILDREN

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Mathew 19:14

Seven Children, is the latest initiative within the ATM family, inspired by two pivotal events. The founder felt a deep call during adoration, where she sensed the Lord asking her to encourage more people, especially children, to adore Him in the Blessed Sacrament. The Lord’s repeated request was underscored by His longing for companionship, as He said, “because I am lonely.” This led her to establish an adoration group specifically for children, hearing our Lord reiterate that their pure prayers reach His heart profoundly.

Additionally, drawing from her experience with the ‘Seven Sisters Apostolate,’ she adapted its model for this new venture. The approach involves having moms take a child to adoration on an assigned day each week for 30 minutes. During this time, while the child prays for priests, the mother prays for the child’s vocation. The concept quickly resonated with many mothers, leading to the creation of “Seven Children.” In agreement with both the founder’s spiritual director, and the approval of the Parish priest, Fr Henry, we got to work.

Imitating the life of Blessed Carlo Acutis, who had a deep love for the Eucharist, and a great example for our children, we hope to plant this amazing seed of Eucharistic Adoration in the hearts of our little ones, while praying for more vocations for our children.
